SMAG provides its customers with a wide selection of grab designs to maximise efficiency in handling a wide range of goods types. Grabs come in a variety of designs depending on the type and constitution of the good that needs to be handled, as grab design can have a major impact on handling efficiency. Apart from actuation - which may be mechanical, hydraulic or electrohydraulic, the filling volume can lie anywhere between one and more than sixty cubic metres. Different types of goods - grain, coal, or garbage, or even tree trunks or scrap can be handled.
